USATariffCheck.com is a free educational tool that helps importers, businesses, and consumers calculate the real cost of US tariffs on imported goods under the 2026 trade policy.

The tool was built in response to the rapid changes in US trade policy beginning in 2025. With tariff rates changing frequently and covering hundreds of product categories, we wanted to make the cost impact immediately clear — without requiring knowledge of HTS codes or customs regulations.

What this tool does

Calculates tariff costs by product category or HTS code (65+ products supported)
Shows the combined duty rate (base tariff + Section 301 or Section 232 duties where applicable)
Compares sourcing costs across multiple countries side by side
Tracks the 90-day pause expiry (July 9, 2026) and displays post-pause rates
Estimates total landed cost including freight
Provides shareable URLs for every calculation

Data sources

Rates displayed on this tool are sourced from:

USTR (United States Trade Representative) — ustr.gov
CBP (US Customs and Border Protection) — cbp.gov
Federal Register — Executive orders and proclamations
Trade press (Reuters, Politico Trade, Inside US Trade) for breaking changes

Rates are monitored daily via automated scanning and updated weekly or whenever material changes occur.

Update frequency

We monitor USTR, CBP, and Federal Register daily for rate changes. The site is updated whenever official announcements change import duty rates. The date of last update is shown at the top of the calculator.
